abstracted the android contacts API in to an interface, ready to be switched to
another depending on the platform version.
- updated TODO and NEWS
- handle different multiline schemes better
- import addresses
- check for escaped semi-colons and newlines in N, ADR and ORG lines
- minor optimisations
